ML7® Donor Cornea System
The ML7® is the cutting edge in microkeratome technology. We took the advancements we made in LASIK with the ML7® and applied them to generating donor cornea tissue.
Nitro® Donor Cornea System
The Nitro® is a simplified and economical, yet accurate donor cornea system. With no electronics, the cutting action is manual, creating a simplified solution to generating donor cornea tissue.

MED-LOGICS offers specialized components and services for other donor systems. Components offered include our patented Pressure Gauge, reusable and disposable tubing, precision Heads, Calibrated LASIK Blades, and we also service many different micorkeratomes and their handpieces.
ML7® Donor Cornea System
The ML7® Microkeratome brings advanced software, precision components, and repeatability to the donor cornea industry.
Increased Repeatability
The ML7® microkeratome makes an automated pass, maintaining constant speed across the cornea at the press of a footpedal, increasing the repeatability of the cut.
In addition to the automation, the machined components are made with the highest quality. Made from hardened stainless steel, and coated with a 5 micron layer of chromium, the components operate smooth while maintaining tight tolerances.
Software Controlled Automation and High Quality Components
The ML7® provides constant and controlled blade oscillation and advancement throughout the cut. The software reads the resistance of the motors to slightly increase or decrease power to ensure a precise and planar cut through corneal tissue. By controlling the advancement rate of the handpiece and oscillation of the blade, we ensure the thickness of the cut is the same in the beginning as it is at the end.
Each component is machined precisely to ensure accuracy and repeatability. When the components arrive at MED-LOGICS, our qualified and well trained dimensional inspectors use state of the art metrology systems to precisely measure the critical dimensions.
Improved Results
Critical cells can be saved by monitoring the pressure used to inflate the cornea tissue. Our gauge allows the eye bank to maintain repeatable and optimum pressure.

The Nitro® Donor Cornea System was designed to be an accurate, economical option for Eye Banks.

The Nitro® Donor Cornea System is the first system designed specifically for use on donor tissue. Designed to be simple and easy to use, the Nitro® controls many of the variable factors that lead to the perfect dissection of the corneal tissue.
The precisely machined components are made with the highest quality. Made from hardened stainless steel, and coated with a 5 micron layer of chromium, the components operate smooth while maintaining tight tolerances.

The Nitro® Donor Cornea System is engineered to deliver repeatable tissue cuts. Every component is precisely measured using stated of the art equipment to ensure superior quality.

Improved Results and Simple Design
The Nitro® provides superior results while also being a simpler system than other DSAEK systems. The system only uses pressurized nitrogen and does not need an electrical power source.
The easy to read gauges allow the user to repeat cutting thickness and adjust, if necessary. There is only one pedal on the footswitch providing less opportunity for mistakes.
Having a simpler system also provides less points of failure and service costs are reduced because the system is less complicated than any of the other systems on the market.
We provide a Pelican Case for the Nitro because we believe in providing a system that will last many years.
Despite not being automated, like the ML7® DSAEK System, the Nitro® DSAEK System is still a superior product.
