Rod Ross, CEO

Rod started his business career with Coca-Cola USA in 1974 and Proctor & Gamble a few years later. Rod co-founded MED-LOGICS in 1992 and has been in the surgical market since 1978 when he worked for Johnson & Johnson. Rod moved to Irvine California to join CooperVision Surgical in 1981, which was purchased by Alcon in 1989, then to Burlingame in 1988 to be a Director for Aesculap. Rod became an entrepreneur in 1992 when he co-founded MED-LOGICS, then Scieran Technologies and Refractec in 1993. Rod founded several other companies, such as VersEye but eventually the focus became MED-LOGICS which has grown because of innovation and good management ever since.

Betty Ross, President

Betty is co-founder of MED-LOGICS and established many of the early international distributors for the company. Her early ophthalmic career involved selling IOLs and phaco devices in California. She was instrumental in moving MED-LOGICS into the LASIK market and increasing sales around the world. Betty’s accounting experience in the oil and gas industry has led her to manage the finances for MED-LOGICS.

Justin Ross, Chief Technology Officer

Justin first joined MED-LOGICS in January of 2008. He went to California Statue University at Fullerton for Mechanical Engineering. He also has a degree in IT and Software Development . Justin has been instrumental in the successful design, development, and launch of the Calibrated LASIK Blade, ML7 Microkeratome, Nitro Donor Cornea System, and CataPulse Lens Removal System. Justin currently manages Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Regulatory.
